Happy to report they fixed most of the older problems. The game doesn’t keep showing network/connectivity/server issues, nor does it have problems with managing the Facebook login issues. Works well! Good job, EA!

This is from a previous review i gave... “This is like the 3rd review Ive given this. Each time its something new that makes the app virtually unusable.” Since then, the app actually has steadily improved. And a note from the developer reminded me that i should be fair and update my review. It also showed that they care about users... something previously missing. I will say that the apps previous issues had me move most of my games to Words With Friends, and i expect most of those to stay there. And there are a few things about their interface... such as messaging... that i prefer. That said... the Scrabble app at least recently is very usable and playing is enjoyable again. Upping my rating from 1 star to 4.

This version won’t let you play with more than 1 other person. When you select a second player is deselects the other. I’ve contacted support a couple times and nothing. I followed EA support process and there is no scrabble option so I couldn’t continue.

Hopefully this game won’t have a bunch of commercials!

The title of my review says it all. The application is hung up "updating game list" and totally refuses to respond. I have closed and reopened it several times and installed new updates trying to get it to work for a month now. No success. I cant believe that Ive paid money to download this worthless application with this kind of result. UPDATE: After 8 months, the developer just sent me today an email proclaiming the application has been updated and asking me if I’d like to try it again. You’ve got to be kidding me! After wasting my money and waiting for some response for eight months I’m not even going to think about it. I love the game of Scrabble, but the developers must really take me for stupid having already duped me out of paying for the application once and then waiting for this long. No thanks!

I have fun playing friends and children from afar.

Please bring back the app the way it was 3 years ago. You could play with 4 players, search friends with Origin profiles, add and remove friends, etc... none of those features are available anymore. You can’t play with friends, they are all random people with no names, just Guest numbers. Please bring back the old scrabble game before the countless useless unnecessary updates. PLEASE

The game is fun. Different than the board game. There is no penalty for guessing, no challenges. If the word is no good you start over and look for a valid word. It is not as stable as Words With Friends, but it is more stable than it used to be. Occasionally your rack doesn’t update and you search for the right word only to find out your rack has the wrong letters and you get an error message. Some of the ads are too long or too loud on my iPad. To the developers: You’re on the right track, but not 100% there yet.

As with the version prior, this latest will not allow even an initial move when playing against the computer. Please fix ASAP!

Minions at EA have forced a password change. They give NO instructions on how to accomplish this!! ALL ATTEMPTS and forms of passwords DO NOT work!! I PAID FOR THIS GAME!!! Now I have lost all of my scrabble friends and games. There is NEVER any help!!! The appointed Game Police of EA have made sure to lock out players and TRICK US into believing that they will help with this issue. NOT!! "Help" is an endless loop of nothingness into the ABSURD abyss of "user boards" or they respond with emails from "do not respond" addresses!!! I did attempt a call a few weeks ago and they called me back at 2:00am!! In my stupor, and not recognizing the phone number because it HAD NO NAME(!!!), I told them to never call again. Who calls people whenever they please with no regard for the time of day?!?! ??

The game is playable again with last update. But I still have no idea why when going to the Next game it takes you to the most recently updated...shouldn’t it take you to the game that has been waiting longest for your attention?!

Latest updates have fixed the loading problems. Thanks EA for listening to the reviewers. I’d still like to see some more meaningful stat tracking (games over time or maybe by week, month, year with bar charts) instead of a pie chart which after years of play against a single opponent, never moves. Good game though.

Updated: 12/12/17 The latest update in October 2017 did nothing to solve the problems described below but apparently EA saw the original review and asked me to upgrade. The app was auto updated in October and this did not solve the problem. It’s not clear that Scrabble Premium is different than what is on my device. I’m not will to risk $8 to install an app (again?) that may not differ in any way from what is currently installed. My opponent had to create a fake FB account just to appear as a possible opponent in my list. Her real account has not appeared as a player choice for me for years. There’s no way I’m risking falling another similar situation by deleting and reinstalling the app. We can play now and it’s not worth the hassle of having to create more fake FB accounts just to play Scrabble. Original review: There is no answer as to why not all of my FB friends names appear as potential Scrabble opponents. The customer service responses read like autobot replies (trust me and just google it). Its Scrabble, people. The board looks like the board and the tiles look like the tiles. But if you want to play that one person whose name isnt appearing in the app as a potential opponent, youre out of luck getting that issue addressed. The owner of the board game (Hasbro? Parker Bros.?) should sue EA for incompetence and get some programmers that know what the heck theyre doing. I wish you luck.

Another update; another fail!!!! I havent been able to start a new game since the new update. I had 28 active games and got a message saying I was at the limit for starting new games. (The limit is 50) I am now down to 19 games and still getting the message. This is an old problem that happened on an update last year, was fixed and now recurring again. Support seems nonexistent. Hello EA, is anyone listening???? If you havent updated yet, dont!! Unfortunately I have my devices set to update automatically so I am stuck with this nightmare. Epic fail!!! Wow! I wrote this in March and got a response from the developer six hours ago! Nothing like taking 9 months for an answer. I could have created a human being in that timeframe. As far as the suggestion that if I’m still having problems just go to their website and ask for help, I opened several cases on their website before issuing the review in March. They gave no answers but just kept closing my cases. Life’s too short, EA.

We loved scrabble even bought the paid version now we can’t find our friends on origin....this needs to be fixed ASAP. Everyone doesn’t have Facebook. We don’t do Facebook and we would appreciate if you would fix the app to find our friends in origin. Please and Thank you

Since when are Irish and Cuba not recognized words. God only knows what else is missing. Suggested words are truly bizarre

Its slow and the menus are not obvious.
