I used to like this app, now I wish some other company would make one. Chat is garbage now, so is teacher feature.

Have had to delete & reinstall often to get it to connect. Currently its not showing when I have a turn to play. When it works, its fine, and at least doesnt make me pay for the teacher feature like the one in Facebook.

The game interface has become unstable again. Its baffling why these releases are so user bug infested. - Once again I am signed out of the app needlessly & routinely. - The notifications badge never works. - Game history rapidly disappears. - All players have a "G" (for Guest) icon. Notifications give a name, so why are all players called Guest?

Gives an error when attempting to send game requests via Facebook.

It worth the money. Unreliable and full of glitches

I love this game. Playing with people all over the world is a nice element. However the game sometimes just crashes and Im constantly deleting and and reinstalling the app just to complete a game. Fix the glitches and it would be perfect!

The game itself is find the majority of the time. Sometimes, though, every other turn I have to delete and reload to get it to work. More often, the notifications dont work and my friends have to text me to tell me that its my turn. I love scrabble but there are times when this app makes me turn to words with friends just to have something to do that works.

April 2017 update: These are my last two games on Scrabble, will delete the app and continue with Words with Friends, where Ive had no software problems or issues at all. Have asked my Scrabble contacts to play me on WWF. The game wont load easily, have had to delete and reinstall, have had to log in frequently. Am using iPhone 6+. Having trouble with game locking up after making a play, having to re-boot the iphone to clear it. Always some irritant. Never any software problems with WWF, I use it more and prefer it. Done with scrabble. UPDATE May 2017. Kept Scrabble to play one person. All other games I use WWF. Scrabble still requires me to login periodically-have NEVER had to login with WWF. The choice is clear.

Good: TileTracker (and no more auto-recall). Bad: I never log out on purpose, and yet I have to log in constantly just to see if its my turn. Do I have to log out on all my devices and start over? Still, its bingos beyond WordFeud, Words With Friends, and any other imitators Ive forgotten.

I like Scrabble a lot. When the functionality of the game is buggy, its frustrating. Frequently (it seems, monthly?) my games wont load and I need to reinstall the app.

Using a modified ELO shows that the product manager(s) know nothing about competitive scrabble. A loss of 40 rating points in one game is twice that of normal tournament Scrabble. Also quit with the incessant "rate us now" nag!

I was so excited for this update. But the connectivity with Origin still does not work. And some of my favorite Facebook partners have quit Scrabble, saying they cant find our games.

Because The prior app stopped working weeks ago. I could not get a refreshed games list on the phone, and then the same problem occurred on my iPad. I just updated and the iPad is a bit better- some games are there. But the phone is still useless. Dont bother to delete and reinstall the app. That did not wotk?? I dont want to tap even a half of a star but I cant post the review without doing so. 5/24/17: I dont want to Jinx anything but I think its fixed!! Per EA instructions (emailed) I downloaded new phone software (which coincidentally arrived tonight), turned off the phone, then turned it on, then deleted the Scrabble app, then downloaded the new Scrabble app. Please let it be true!!! Thanks EA!! 5/25/17: still connected this a.m. but that annoying music is back!!!? 5/25/17: 4pm: still working!!!! Still hate that music but Im thrilled its working. 5/28/17: EA sent emails asking how its going. Unfortunately the iPad now malfunctioned: I can connect to Facebook friends but not to Origin friends. At least theres no music on the iPad.... in a phone call EA encouraged us to write these reviews, saying they do read and use them to develop the repairs.

***SIGH*** May 27th — okay so they have fixed the volume dim. I appreciate that. There are a few steps backwards, though. Notifications are broken, and game loading gets a perpetual hang until I force quit and restart. On chat, still no autocorrect and now another issue has cropped up; when I type a message that is longer than the short window I cant see what Im typing. The underlying game is good, but its frustrating that they cant quite get it working well after all these years. ------------ This March 21 update broke Scrabble for me. I deleted it and then reinstalled, and so far its working well. Its been about 24 hours without further problems. Two issues I really want them to correct: Dont dim the volume of other programs while Im using Scrabble. Turn autocorrect back on for the in-game chat.

I enjoy this game thoroughly, but gets stuck often, which is frustrating! Sometimes nudge options take too long.

My Scrabble app stopped working. It wont connect to FB; therefore, I cant play any games with my friends. This has been going for a few weeks. The disappointment always ensues when none of my games load. Also, when I play the game while listening to music from my phone simultaneously, the Scrabble app turns down the volume of the music. I have disabled all of the game sounds. I have to turn up the music volume while in the app, but then must remember to turn the music volume down when I exit the app otherwise my ears will get blasted with loud music.

Thanks for returning gestures in the latest update! However, Chat took a leap back by losing the ability to type more characters than fit in one line of the field. It would be amazing if youd implement a standard chat framework instead of this over-customized one. Centered text and inability to wrap long lines in the entry field are both ugly approaches. Also, when exiting the Dictionary, the current game redisplays the last move and clears from the board any tiles already placed when I visited the Dictionary. This is annoying to say the least.

Its worth getting an iPhone for Scrabble alone. Provides the thrill of creating order out of chaos - perfectly divine!

Update: 185mb and even slower and lamer. Why?!? Prob spying on us. How can a game go from 8 to 185 MB and play worse. What a "improvements" are we actually realizing. Bloated garbage.

The PCU, vs. which I usually have been playing, has a weird idea of the English language. I laid down the letters for the word "squaw," which certainly entered our language early in the colonial period, only to have the word disqualified. Meanwhile the CPU put down the word "Flotel," which the keyboard resists and of whose meaning Im ignorant--Im imagining a smelly student hostel on a back street.
