Actually playing the game is fine, but all network interaction is slow, and seems to get worse with each update. Update 10/12/16 - Why on earth does this version turn the volume down on whatever Im listening to?

Really a great game. I dont seem to have all the problems other people do. I usually play two or three opponents randomly. The only problem I have is trying to beat some of the really good players.

When this app works well, its my very favorite, but when it doesnt, which is after every single update, the latest one being no exception, its utterly frustrating. This update has taken the "nudge" and "force forfeit" functions away, leaving me with many "dead" games which now just sit in my queue, taking away from other possible games since there is a limit. Honestly, I dont understand how such terrible updates get released...is there no quality control? Obviously, Im not the only user who feels this way. Please consider your loyal and potential users when releasing updates by making sure that they work properly.

Ive been unable to log in for the past two days. What gives???

Game play is great. Used to have lots of network issues but those are mostly solved now. However the early October 2016 update put in a new feature/ bug that limits number of games and effectively has shut me down!

Love the game, hate the bugs. Constant name scrolling drains battery. Also, clear the app badge icon when all turns are played.

This scrabble app does what you would expect it to do. Play multiple opponents. I like the word check feature. I do not think the dictionary is complete ( do we ever). It has a coach but I havent tried that feature.

Read a console review that called EA an evil company. After playing this game on my iPhone for 7 years, Im not sure I disagree. Consistently buggy, and this version forces me to log into my fb profile each and every time. The in-game chat is worse than the last version, and often the icon is blocked by an ad. While it has been worse and does function currently, I wish ea would put some resources into making this app what it could be. Rather than the least possible app to continue this revenue stream.

New release 5.15 is a step backwards. It will now use ducking to quiet down audio while app is open, why? A very useful iOS feature for running apps, not here. So you cannot really listen to music well while you play. Notifications still broken (not decremented as you play, just updated when opponent plays). Refresh still slow. Im convinced the data exchanged with server is a lot greater than it needs to be.

10/13/16 Again I write, this time the update no longer allows me to log in with facebook... so frustrating. 3/16/16 Geez, this is yet another updated review and its still not good. The time it takes to open is longer than the time it took me to go to the App Store login and review the app! I want to open and play, why does it take forever?! Current version as of 9/29/2014 Every time I open the app Im asked if I want to download another game. Its so annoying! I paid for this app, and I dont even mind some ads, but a forced ad that I have to say no to every time I open the app is obnoxious to say the least! Love this game and happy to play it, but come on! Previous issue. At least once a day you get annoying push notifications that have nothing to do with the games you are playing. This is obnoxious and needs to stop. It also stopped sending me notifications when my friends play. Lastly why does it stop my music from playing every time I open the app?

Nudge and force to forfeit features gone! App stalling every time adds more the annoyance of playing this game. Zero star rating!!!!

The only people giving this game a positive review must be the devolpers. Worst of the worst.

How is latest update an improvement in any way? Nothing works better, should have left it alone. Well known words arent allowed while every obscure non-English word for a dung beetle is accepted. Sorry, luv and enuf are not proper words. How are these and other "urban slang" garbage allowed?

Love it! Play it almost everyday:) I use the single player option. Helps me keep my mind sharp. Only thing Id change is being able to use the "best word " option throughout the game - not just 4 times- because it helps me to learn so as to become a better player.
