September 2017 Great news! 2 months and only 1 network disconnection issue! Way to go guys! Thanks for listening to users! Scrabble stays connected without pesky network drop-offs! Спасибо большое Spasibo bolshoye June 2017 Features/functions work but frequent and random auto-log outs are STILL VERY FRUSTRATING!! 5/2017 update: still playing; when the game works its a great game! But network connectivity is intermittent at best and every time theres an iOS update for the iPhone its like nobody at Scrabble knew it was coming or tested it for their app. Really the game is worth supporting; come on guys !! give us some support! Upgrades usually are a bust; its like we are the testers. Logins take forever to get straightened out, no forewarning of new functions or features coming. Otherwise when it works it a great game! I play on an iPhone and the graphics and sound are fine. January upgrade broke logins in EA: unable to stay logged in; havent been able to play another EA user since January !!its March ! April 2017 Addendum SSDD!! A year later and still network failures; logins stop off active user list; days go by without being able to login and there is no apparent awareness by the Support Staff when there is an IOS upgrade on the iPhone platform that might require testing or programming changes to the Scrabble app. Please you guys in St Petersburg help this great game!

Single player mode against the computer is very good. Its a great way to learn new words and develop strategies. Multi-player mode is surprisingly awful. Firstly, it is a long process to register an account and engage other players. Once youre playing, the app functions fine except that it logs you out every few days. A lesser, but annoying flaw is that the chat window in the app only shows one line of text as you are composing your message. Either you keep your repartee short or type slowly so you dont make any mistakes (that you cant see). I had gotten fed up with Words With Friends due to its ridiculously permissive dictionary and hoped Scrabble would be better. The dictionary is great, but the app is very frustrating. Hasbro looks like idiots.

What has happened to scrabble?! REPLY TO DEVELOPER: thanks, but your advice did not help. I had tried several of the suggestions, like closing all apps, closing the scrabble app, etc. Then I installed the update, and thats when everything disappeared. I was able to reconnect to your server but years of game data was gone. I do not like the update, either. Youve installed dictionaries that no longer recognize many, many words including several of the two letter words. CH, for example, is no longer a word so C has no two letter possibility. ZA, JO, GU, and many more words are gone. Really crappy update. Responsible for losing all my game data and for poorer game play. First, about a month ago, they deleted several ongoing games. Just zapped them away, along with records of the last 10 games. I suppose Ive lost them all, though I was winning all but one. Second, the game will now not connect to the server, despite phone settings. Ive even given scrabble permission to use cellular data, but the game still will not connect. Third, and this is a long-standing gripe, the dictionary will not allow you to select a place in a word to add or delete or change a letter. You have to type the darn thing out completely every time. EA, you need to fix this now. You charge $10 for this app and that implies quality support.

Terrible update. Cant get online anymore. Completely ruined the app. Wish I could go back to the old version

I updated to the latest version on and all my games are showing as guests. It doesnt change if I log into origin. Now I remember why I stopped updating this game. Im not impressed. This needs to be fixed

Love this game. Great way to kill time. Only things I dont like are the "teacher" feature and the fact that it allows a player hours (even days) to take their turn. I think people use the words "teacher"informs them of in their next turn and in this way cheat. Also it annoys me that your given so much time to take a turn cause if it was a real game of scrabble that wouldnt fly.

Every version of this app has has pervasive bugs. I use it because there is no other option. It is sad that this great game has only one, half-functioning app to play it. If only theyd just bought out the people who ripped them off! That all worked. Its also pretty clear they only really want facebook users, or that they only considered Facebook. Trying to log on any other way causes me to be kicked off regularly, and I have no way of finding users who ARENT logging in via facebook. So basically, it kinda sucks, but its all theyve give us, so here we are.

I used to love this app, now I wish some other company would make one. Chat is garbage now, so is teacher feature. And the notifications for playable turns no longer works. Geez, I mean come on...

Love playing scrabble, however not sure why this $7 version is better than the free one. It locks up and I have to reinstall it. It also will not load my ongoing games every time. Also many of my friends only play the free version, so I dont have many people to play with.

Uninstalled my game and reinstalled my game. And now i can log in. And Ive discovered that Ive been playing someone I thought I knew but it turns out I didnt. Just some random player. Although now I cant seem to search for people I do know. The search field is there but when I press enter, nothing happens. I can only play the people Ive already got a game going with. And the person Im trying to play doesnt even have a keyboard pop up when she hits the search field. Better, I suppose but these are pretty big bugs that affect game enjoyment and usage. Add one star for being able to finally log in. But thats it. And I just found out when you use the chat function once the field is full of letters it stops registering the keystrokes.

I just downloaded the new version of scrabble for $7.99. I deleted my old version because instead of updating it, I had two versions of scrabble on my IPad. What a hideous mistake. The board on the new version keeps changing size every time you move a letter to the board. Why? Why? Why? Who is this person that wants to pitch the screen so they can view the board EVERY TIME THEY PUT A LETTER ON THE BOARD. Who? Why? This function is annoying, and useless. Much like trying to write a review you cant see because the keyboard is blocking the screen. I hate updates and it doesnt have to be this way.

Sound issues where it interfered with playing music are gone. Still the worst random letter generator on the planet in my opinion. Ive played Scrabble on Palm OS (still the best port of the game), PCs and Macs. Even played the With Friends" variant. Still get the worst letter draws of all of them in this version.

Connectivity issues will haunt the scrabble server to no end, while texting players you could only send so many letters and no spell check. Lastly when you hit the next button it takes you to the latest play not the oldest play .. but still love playing scrabble.

Your app crashes every time even after I reinstall! Fix it you friggin morons or Give me a friggin refund!

Play with friends has been broken for months, if not years. I just want to be able to see my list of friends ( origin) or search for them. There is a search field but no way to type. Please please fix. Also, your support website is convoluted and makes for a poor user experience. Let me leave a support message without having to jump through hoops and create an account.
