No notifications Doesnt display rating of opppnent

06/27/17 ** Still only 2 stars. You keep asking and Ill keep saying until this is rectified. See comments from 06/09/17. 06/09/17 Installed on iPad Mini and every time I open; it starts like a new game. On other devices, settings do not change. Even though the Teacher and Best Word are turned off; I get a Best Word message for every word that meets the Best Word criteria. As it is now, I am still not satisfied with the Scrabble Premium game. 10/26/14 Software continues to crash when showing the score. Sure would like Wi-Fi play as an option again. 10/23/14 After iOS 8.1 update, Scrabble exits program while it shows the score. Wi-Fi capability still missing; please store the option. 09/25/2014 Option mentioned in previous remark is still missing; otherwise app seems to work OK. Previous remark: With upgrade, we lost capability for using over our personal network. I would like this option back.

Scrabble on your phone is just plain fun. I am reacquainting myself to scrabble and I am having a blast. The chance to start against the computer and then advance to playing strangers is exciting. I look forward to playing you someday!?

6/25/17 I still cant connect to the network. The 6/21 update didnt correct the issues. The app just tries and tries to connect and nothing happens. 6/6/17 Still an issue. Had connectivity issues before this June update and still had connectivity issues after the update. First had connectivity issues in May.

Too much down time for an app that costs.

Fine but too much pressure to rate the game. Its scrabble for heavens sake. Even after Ive rated it the app wont stop asking for a review. Enough already!

It wouldnt matter if this app cooked my meals and cleaned my house...the upgrade LOST MY STATS...Ill say it again - the upgrade erased five years of a 100% win record!!!! Who cares what else it can do?

I learned the free scrabble had not only the ads but it was very slow as well or didnt work with limited wifi. The $7.99 version changed all that and I realize it was worth the small amount of money. I have at least 30 games going on with my friends so Im always able to play

Now I am unable to see what Im typing in Chat after the first few words. Ive tried deleting the entire app and then reloading, but no change. Why are there always issues with this app??

Doing great - good version of the game, pretty transparent play.

Review Updated 6/25/17: DO NOT DOWNLOAD UNTIL THIS IS FIXED! STILL issues with nudge/force forfeit. Leads to an infinite amount of open games with people who gave up on finishing a game (which leads to further issues with lag/freezes, as well as the inability to create new games as your game limit is reached.)

This app isnt very well designed - it has lots of little annoyances (such as logging you out automatically if you dont open the app each day). But the biggest gripe I have is that they removed the ability to have three or four person games. I used to play three-way games with my parents; it was a nice activity to keep us connected every day. But for some reason that I dont understand, the app made it impossible to start games with more than two players.

EA has now decided that we shouldnt see the ID or stats of players as we start a game. This means if a rematch is suggested, an opponent has no idea who is challenging him/her. (This used to be the case). Why remove this social aspect of the game? Current iPhone version does not allow one to view chat entries as they are being typed if messages are longer than 21 characters. Again, this used to work in earlier versions. Developers need to stop removing and/or messing with features that work! Im still appalled that nudges and force forfeit still dont work regularly after more than a year on the iPhone app. I would give negative stars, a black hole if I could!

Cant do more that 2 player game - lost 2 stars for that

Still not able to load and play after iOS 6/22 update; just spins when I try to open app. June 2017 update: another iOS update, still not able to play. / May 2017: For weeks now, app just spins when open, no functionality. After the iOS update last week, thought app was fixed as it started to log in but then crashed and is now back to spinning and no functionality again.

My Scrabble will only work in portrait mode. I cant get it to go landscape. I reloaded it on my old iPad, and got the version Scrabble HD, and for one day, until I bought my new iPad, I had landscape mode. With my new iPad, Im back to portrait only. Please fix this!

The app has improved since I started playing online four months ago, but there are still some kinks and bugs to be ironed out. In one recent game, my play did not show up on the board but it registered my score-it just froze up. But I do enjoy the game as much as I did playing it on the dining table with my parents as a kid!

Words that are in the dictionary should be accepted! Also, to leave a message you can only type one line at a time.. why?
