Whoever EA has hired to write code for this app should be fired immediately. Most everyone hasnt been able to log in to the origin for about a year now. I received a third update as a premium owner to fix the most basic issue and still doesnt work. This company should be ashamed of itself.

I play with friends who dont use FB and we all had to login with Origin, which was/is a pain. First we couldnt connect at all. After many tries we finally did. However, it does not always stays logged in and I have to go through the login process almost every time. Other than that the game is fun and I enjoy it very much.

Its. Scrabble lol just like youd expect. Dont have a Facebook so not sure about all the connectivity issues as mentioned below but a fine app and if you enjoy Scrabble worth the purchase

Easy and Fun

Was having issues with the free version so I went and spent the $10

Great program helps me with my word recall.

Stop showing me what my opponent played. Whenever I use the dictionary and go back to the board I lose my tiles resting on the board, it zooms out and I get to watch - again - what my opponent played. What a stupid feature! Its my turn now. Let me focus on that! Why do you change things that are working fine? And why am I no longer notified when my opponent has taken their turn?

This is a great app when it works, however it is unreliable and is often down, including 10 days in the fall of 2014 when it was unavailable across multiple platforms. Communications and updates from the powers that be during these outages is thin at best. This is not a courtesy app. Most users have bought and paid for it and get modest, unreliable return on their investment. Buy at your peril and prepare for frequent frustration! 2017 and I stand by this review. Just deleted and downloaded the app yet again! Many have abandoned the app out of frustration.

Unless Im missing something. The double tap to zoom in or out doesnt work for me.

I havent been able to play for more than three weeks as my games wont load. If they ever come back, I assume I will have been forced to forfeit all of them. Boo :-(

This game is great! One of the few games that enhance word power

There are glitches. Unable to get the nudge and forfeit feature to work. I play daily.

Please stop with how-can-we-make-it-worse updates already!

Not good FB keeps going out

I love to take this out to distract myself. Good fun.

It works. Seems to have been designed by a video game expert, not an avid Scrabble player; useless animations, kind of slow. It does the job but wont win any awards from me.

Annoyed.

Scrabble is a terrific game. I used to be able to play with other players on this app and now I cant without getting sucked into the facebook vortex. Why ruin a perfectly good app without at least offering an alternative way of playing with friends? Lost a customer. Smarten up!

I have been playing this game for years and at first became totally addicted to the point that I ran out and bought an IPhone 6 so I could play with my family and friends. With each unnecessary up grade it has been all downhill!! This last one being the worst! I loved the ability to chat but now it doesnt let you know you have a message, no more autocorrect , and you need to "unmute" it each time to find your message! Now Im switching to Words With Friends. Far less frustrations. But very sad! This latest upgrade seems to be going in the right direction. The speed of play and sharpness of the game is much better. A few small glitches are there but tolerable. The chat feature doesnt show you what you have typed after a couple of words until you hit send which can be disconcerting.

I love scrabble and this app. I really just miss the ability to play whatever word you want and the opponent must challenge.
