Pretty good, like the teacher part. Only thing is, the computer opponent makes bogus words that arent real. Things like "soj" and "foats." I know those words arent real. Its annoying because it cheats!

But there needs to be a level harder than expert. I shouldnt be able to win 100% of the time.

Since a recent update there is added animation which is time consuming and a bit irritating after a while. Every time I check the dictionary & return to the board, I have to wait for my opponents tiles to fall into place and score calculated. Also, notifications are still unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Having said this, I like playing Scrabble so I am very glad to have this app! I just keep hoping it will be perfected some day.

Love Scrabble. App works great. Love the. Hilt will n dictionary with all the 2 letter words.

Very good but the current version no longer allows you to check a random players rating prior to playing. So I got stuck in a game with somebody rated 900 points lower. Fun fun. Please fix this.

App keeps glitching

The new version is so bad it’s hard to know where to begin: freezes; unexplained log outs; “Forfeit” (rather than “Resign”) appearing after NO moves; no way to move games along (the automatic “Nudge” simply does not work—I have games where other players haven’t moved in 5 days and I can’t do anything). The list goes on and on. Words with Friends is starting to look really good.

Dont like the upgrades. "Lets reinvent the wheel and make it triangular " !

April 2017 update: These are my last two games on Scrabble, will delete the app and continue with Words with Friends, where Ive had no software problems or issues at all. Have asked my Scrabble contacts to play me on WWF. The game wont load easily, have had to delete and reinstall, have had to log in frequently. Am using iPhone 6+. Having trouble with game locking up after making a play, having to re-boot the iphone to clear it. Always some irritant. Never any software problems with WWF, I use it more and prefer it. Done with scrabble. UPDATE May 2017. Kept Scrabble to play one person. All other games I use WWF. Scrabble still requires me to login periodically-have NEVER had to login with WWF. The choice is clear. UPDATE JUN 2017. Use Scrabble for only one player. Game still asks me to login. With the recent improvements in WWF, it has established itself as the superior game.

Please fix the app! My comments would mirror the others.

This program is tremendous. The hardest thing to accomplish is simple operation but exercise of brain. You have done it!! User friendly timely updates since the beginning version. I have gotten to a point of expecting great from you. You have never failed my expectations.

I have always loved scrabble and still do. Since I am not a techno freak and simply want to play with absent friends - it suits me just fine!!! Some people just love to find fault ... oh well , apparently I am happy and they ... arent !

Updated after August 20, 2016 because my older version would no longer work. EA screws up again. The teacher no longer automatically provides an expression to show how well you played. Now you need to click the hat. Stupid. The icons at the bottom are smaller and the in-screen messages are so small they can barely be read. I dont know what they think theyve improved. I guess Im stuck with it until somebody wises up. Are you paying attention EA? Your developers should PLAY the game so that they know how bad it is.

Just another app that forces you to rate it to stop the pop-up

I love playing scrabble, and I like the scrabble board way better than words with friends, so I tolerate all the frustrating elements of the app. It routinely stops working for me and the only fix Ive found is uninstalling and reinstalling. Sometimes Ill open it and nothing will happen (it wont load) and additionally, the app will freeze up on me. On any device. Its aggravating. But I love playing and so I keep playing!

Love this game sans the, Teacher. Teacher often suggests a word in a vulnerable location for next player. UGH!

Every time a new version is rolled out, the app fails to work for several days. I had to uninstall and re-install this latest go round. The app has problems with the list of games screens not reflecting whether opponents have played or not. Often, it appears the opponent has not played, but if you click on the game, you see the opponent has played. Pretty annoying. My previous comments still hold.
