First today my profile was gone, my games gone, and I could not log in. That’s when I checked to see if an update had occurred. Second, I started a couple new games, and random players played a word, but my own starter word does not show. The second word is off to the side not touching the center. And no I cannot make a play because no word showing on the center star. Frustrating. Meanwhile, I’m getting notifications that I’m being nudged in the games under my profile that I can’t access. My brother has the same problem. Ridiculous. Please fix this quickly.

Not working on iPhone.

6/8/17: Running awesome. Getting notifications and all, but I didnt update until I talked to people making sure all bugs were gone. Please run good for at least a few months. The game works okay but the notification wont go away after I have taken my turn. This is obnoxious. I sent in a big report a week ago and no response. Hoping maybe writing the review will make the notification go away. Update as of July 2017 - now there are no notifications when the other player has played their turn. Why does this game have to always be broken? Update Dec 2017 - I have to delete and reinstall this game on my iPhone at least once a month because the games won’t load or notifications stop working. It would be awesome if this game worked. This has been going on for years.

Just reinstalled this app for about the tenth time. Each time it works for a month or two until it stops and I have to download it again. It also registers draws as losses (fun!) and has a phantom game losing bug if you look at your opponent’s profile. The app monitors your chat and if you use a word that it doesn’t like, it censors you. Not by giving you a warning but by posting a boilerplate message under your name. Definitely the worst app on my phone but... ¯_(ツ)_/¯

After several blissful months of no issues, EA is back with what I’ve become accustomed to: Scrabble login issues. As of earlier today, the app starts, immediately begins refreshing games, and then hangs. I’ve tried de/reinstalling and logging out/back in to FB, but unlike in the past, no luck. Just hangs. C’mon EA, you can do it!

Do not buy this game. Its rigged. The games still has too many issues. You cant see you opponents rating before you make you first move. As a result, you could get stuck playing an unrated player which is very problematic and unfair. If you are rated 2100 or higher, there absolutely no benefit in playing someone rated below 1600. If you win, you gain no points in rating. But if you lose, you could lose as much as 16 points. Ive retired from playing this dumb game at 2150. Theres no point in playing any more until this issue gets fixed.

I liked when you could place your tiles and make changes without having the tiles removed and the last move displayed repeatedly.

Love this game but have to delete and reinstall every couple of days now. Just stops working. Terrible pain. If I was not such a scrabble lover I would give up. Also absolutely abhor the upgrade? That makes the last word played by my opponent reappear and eliminate anything I may have had on the board each time I switch to the dictionary or exchange or chat. I see that many users have complained about this. Why on earth won’t you fix it??? It did not used to be like this and literally no one likes it. PLEASE UNDUE THAT SUPPOSED UPGRADE AND TRY TO STABILIZE THE GAME!!! Merry Christmas!

Update 12/24/17: I didn’t really notice any changes with the latest update. Most things are working smoothly. But, please PLEASE add a way to choose a random opponent by their rating. I play a lot of random opponent games and I really hate getting matched with players with really low ratings. Most of the time a low rating means they are getting force-forfeited all the time because they start a game and then never finish it. Update 10/27/17: Happy to see the developers giving this app the attention it needs. Almost everything is working as it should now. Still waiting for the ability to choose an opponent by rating when starting a random game. Update 10/3/17: Login problem fixed. Chat bar fixed. Notifications gone again. C’mon people... please just get this right one time and then leave it alone. Update 9/24/17: Havent been able to log in to Origin for 5 days. I keep getting invalid username/password errors. Cant even log in to EA to get help because of the password error. Update 9/8/17: Game notifications have been working consistently since the last update. Thank you. Chat bar still not working. Also, please bring back the ability to see a guest rating before joining a random game. Either that or bring back the option to choose an opponent within a certain rating range. Fix those two things and Ill give you the last 2 stars. Update 6/10/17: Well, notifications worked for about 2 weeks, then it quit again. Now my chat bar only shows a few characters while Im typing, so I have to type without being able to see what Im typing. Im happy to see that they are working to fix the app, but so far the updates havent helped. --------------------------------- Really dont like the swiping to switch games. I accidentally switch games all the time while trying to place a tile. Also, really hate the no more turns window that pops up (even after it has notified me that it is my turn). 5/19: Notifications no longer work. There is a little red 1 on the app icon all the time, whether it is my turn or not & I have to actually open the game to see if it is my turn. Frustrating. Also dont like that I cant see the chat once a game ends.

Love the scrabble ap...passes time and keeps you thinking .

Id recently had enough of Zynga and their quest to extort people every chance they get. So here I am, trying out Srabble for iPhone. Mind you, Apple does have a 90 day refund policy so Ill be trying Scrabble Premium for iPhone for a while and hopefully it delivers. If Im happy with it, Ill return to give it that additional star.

Love the game, but for last 4 days will show games on iPad, but not connect? Frequent problems.

Heres an update.....zero stars! I begged my friend to join me on scrabble. I just hate "Words with Friends". It took forever to get on through Origin! Whatever happened with the update this time around has destroyed the app! Every time I try to play, I have to delete the app & retrieve it from the cloud to be able to play- what is that about? Keeps trying to refresh the page but never does. Origin - hire some new workers & fix this please. Origin is horrible - it continues to tell me my login had expired & makes me log in constantly. Why cant it remember your name & password?? I just lost 3 games - poof gone -right in the middle of them with no way to get in touch with the two other players - they are not on Facebook. They are probably wondering what happened. This is not the first time games have stopped. I have lost my stats & knocked back down to original status. Saying Im playing since "now." Origin tells me they are already on my friend list but wont allow me to challenge them so I can restart a game! I have both unpaid & paid versions. What happened to the notifications when someone played a turn? That no longer works!! Why would origin want such poor feedback & never try to rectify the problem? Scrabble is the best game but needs a pick me up! Wake up Origin clean up your act! Update: 12/2017. * * * * * stars The game seems to be working now. Thank you for fixing the issues.

I need a button that gives me suggestions. The computer uses too many words I never heard of, causing me to lose interest.

Some of the words scrabble comes up with have to be fake! Lol, fun game though

I’m sure it’s a great game but I didn’t have the patience to get past the tutorial.
