Challenging and fun!

The game was fine and working perfectly until the most recent update to "fix some connectivity issues" now it wont connect and wont let me play unconnected.

Just keeps trying to make a connection to Facebook. Thanks for trying to fix it but youre not done yet...please fix it correctly.

For a company as large as Hasbro and EA, youd think theyd put more thought and resources into making this app more fun and easy to use. Still no way of ordering racks alphabetically. Too much flashy graphic fireworks. Not enough intuitiveness for communicating with other players effectively. Plus, its so buggy Ive had to delete and reinstall multiple times.

Ill echo all the other bad reviews! One thing I havent seen mentioned is the absence of notification sounds. No longer get those but its enabled in settings. Go back to the old version. This update is horrible! Edit: 5/20/2016- Now after the last update I get random crashes after playing a word. When will you folks get this game right? Edit: 4/20/2017-Now notifications dont work! After update they stopped, started working on its own, now stopped again. Amazes me every time. Do you folks ever bother to test the "fixes" before you release it to the public? Oh, I forgot. You really dont care! Big company that puts out a crap app! Sad when you come to expect problems after an update. Ill wait for the next update to see what you foul up! Edit: 4/24/2017 Notifications started working after my last edit/complaint, now theyre dead again! Cmon guys! Fix it! Edit: 5/14/2017 Notifications dead again! What is up with this app? Had a problem with both my app and my wifes where you cant log in and the only way to get it working again is to delete and reinstall. This is becoming a real joke!edit 5/19/2017 Another BS update! Notifications still dont work! Now my profile image has become a Scrabble square with my initial. Stop letting grade school kids program this app and get it right. This app is nothing but frustration after every update! So glad I paid for it...NOT!

This program is tremendous. The hardest thing to accomplish is simple operation but exercise of brain. You have done it!! User friendly timely updates since the beginning version. I have gotten to a point of expecting great from you. You have never failed my expectations.

Should run better. Always hanging up, etc. Also, teacher mode is solely focused on maximum points and not best play without setting you opponent up for TW and so on.

Notifications not working.

I love to play and for the most part app works fine my only complaints are the nudge option and the fact that you cant see the tile distribution Edit to update Horrible!! I have to delete and re-install almost every day to play. Get it together EA

why doesnt the "rematch" function work anymore? now this button begins a scrabble game with a new random guest opponent as opposed to a rematch with a previous game opponent. additionally- why did my avatar disappear with this upgrade? all of the scrabble players on my "friends" list still have their avatars. please fix these issues with the new version.

I love the game but for the past week, I dont receive any notifications. Very frustrating... please fix.

I have to reinstall it 2 or 3 times a week. The chat doesnt work like other iPhone chat apps. Instead of being able to make corrections, you have to backspace all the way back to the mistake to correct it. Bottom line: scrabble is one of my favorite games ever, but it is the only app I have ever had so many issues with. Every build for the past 3 or 4 years has had one problem or another. I wish they would focus on making a stable build instead of seeing how fancy they can make it and how many unnecessary features they can cram into it.

I love Scrabble. I play in person and use the app all the time. The only problem is that it needs to be updated. I keep getting kicked off. I just had to upload it again. Its working but now I cant chat as it freezes. Sometimes their people I cant play because somethings wrong with the app. Please update the app. I think I read that this app will no longer be compatible, or usable with the iPhone 8.

Love Scrabble, but this app is next to pitiful. Have had to re-install countless times over the past several months. Works fine for a while, but then suddenly cant login, or does not display notifications. My last re-install didnt help; no notification when my opponent has played a turn. Sad. This latest update has introduced multiple issues. Only a few words allowed in chat, then freezes. Going to the dictionary and then back to the board updates the other players word again needlessly, and returns newly positioned tiles to the rack. This is ridiculous. Really!

With the latest update, it goes into an apparently infinite loop, telling me it cant connect to Facebook. Does EA do any QA at all on this crap before it goes out the door?? Leaving my previous review below, because theres no reason for me to believe any of the issues I had with the previous version have been addressed. ------------------------------- Ive had to delete and reinstall the app twice today, three times in two days, because its data gets corrupted. After playing a word, maybe 10-25% of the time, it hangs. On restart, usually the last word played shows up - sometimes not. It gives unhelpful error messages like "Oops" with no explanation; sometimes forgets that certain words have been played and then gives error messages when you try to make a play that conflicts with the unseen word. EA should be ashamed to let code this buggy get out the door. I may have to resort to playing Words With Friends (ugh).

I love i-phone scrabble! great teacher. nice look. good computer opponent. but. frustrating times with network misfiring. would like the expert computer opponent to strategize and not just play the best word available each turn. thx!

Just updated and its stuck in a loop saying no connection to facebook. I KNOW - IM TRYING TO CONNECT TO FACEBOOK BUT I CANT - BECAUSE IF THE DIALOG BOX IS IN THE WAY! And inexplicably losing notifications when not changing any settings. Can you really not find staff capable of writing an app properly? Cant be THAT hard. I shouldve lived with the ads.

I delete and upload this mobile App a few times a week because it continues to not run. It will work for a day and then its down again. If it werent for me playing with two long-time opponents, I would happily delete this App forever. Get it together Scrabble App developers!!!!! Its not that hard to get an App to work!

No notifications. Chat is still worthless. No multiplayer ability unless the game is started on Facebook on a pc.
