Update 10/7/17: nudge/force forfeit seems to be fixed, but only by clicking the “next” button which takes you to the game with your opponents most previous move (instead of oldest move, which would make the most sense since you don’t want people to force forfeit your own games (especially if you’re actively using the app.)) And now, the app randomly disappears when using the iOS app switcher. OLD: Review Updated 6/25/17: DO NOT DOWNLOAD UNTIL THIS IS FIXED! STILL issues with nudge/force forfeit. Leads to an infinite amount of open games with people who gave up on finishing a game (which leads to further issues with lag/freezes, as well as the inability to create new games as your game limit is reached.)

This is s really fun game

Scrabble, you can play solo or against your device. Also, Scrabble for iPad you can download a Scrabble tile rack. I would love to see Scrabble for iPad have the ability to use the tile rack in play against device and not just party play. Too be able to do both would be so cool. I hope you all enable it to do this real soon. There is a Mexican Train game that can do it. It also has a tile rack. Note: my game of life, Yahtzee, UNO are broken. Hasbro needs to update these games. I hate it when developers take advantage of us. When theses app are broken, they don’t work and there goes our$. It’s not fare to us!

Too many loud ads

10/2017 update: I think it’s gone downhill—Now when I open a game, I see my opponent’s play, with NONE of the other letters on the board. Then that play goes away, and the board redraws. AND THEN, it redraws my opponent’s play. It’s also still redrawing every time I use the dictionary, which has been reported by others as well. ****************** Previous comments: I love Scrabble, and have multiple games in progress with many friends. Something that has just changed with the last upgrade is the "auto-undo" that happens if I launch the dictionary with any of my letters on the board for the current turn. Any time I launch the dictionary, when I return to the game board it "redraws" the previous play, thus removing any tiles Ive placed on the board in my current turn. Its a waste of time waiting for the animation to show me (again) what the board looked like before my opponent played, then show their play, while at the same time removing my tiles so I have to put them back on the board. :-( I refer to the dictionary a lot—the fact that Scrabble has the in-game dictionary is a big plus, IMO, but this new behavior is quite frustrating to me.

Where is the 3 and 4 player option button? I will tell you where, they had a problem and instead of fixing it they deleted the option! Shame on you! People purchased the paid version so they could play family and friends around the US. Another excuse was play it on Facebook. Well not everyone wants to join Facebook did support think of that, NO! Shame on you! Why not just hire competent people who really care about the people who support your products? Shame on you EA! Thc

Firstly, the game takes too long to load. Why do I have to say I want to play offline each time I go to the game? The only version I played was duplicate. And then the stupid best word which the teacher contradicts. Sorry this is not new and improved. It has been a downgrade. Let me go play sudoku and dominoes.

Update: After complaining to customer service about game not accurately tracking my wins and complaining about poor customer service, my letter/tile selection tanked. I went from winning about 80% of games to under 50%. The tiles are stacked against me. Its bizarre. I had already suspected that something was off with the tile draw. Its not so random. I notice the quality/score of letters are similar across all games I have going on. If you like scrabble this is very addictive. Good features built in like the usable dictionary, shuffle, and moves list. Quite frequently I have to update the games manually and the app badge doesnt work. The one thing I vehemently dislike is the tile draw isnt completely random. For instance, in all six games I have going right now I have one or no vowels. Often its the other way around. Why would they do this?

Update 10/05/2017. Login fixed. The app even kept the non-login games active and let me finish those. Push notifications are working again. Scrabble is a great game. Developer fixes problems.

Game could be improved by not showing points for invalid words

I and my family members all purchased scrabble premium!!! The reason being we are living all over the U.S. Up until 6 months ago we all enjoyed playing against each other. Ive asked support for 6 months now in review apps and online at EA help. No one will help!!! All we want is to play the game we purchased at the App Store!! Not on Facebook!! You have broken our contract please fix!!!!! Thc

The app works fine (mostly) but since the multiplayer function was removed makes this a very family unfriendly game. Devs: Will the multiplayer function ever return to the official Scrabble app? Not much of a "family" game without it. Also, if I didnt have to log into my Origin account EACH TIME I open the app, that would be fantastic.

I just received a Developer response, asking me to update with 5.22. So I did, and using a new account (old one fails), I logged into Origin and it took!! Yea!!!! But I cant invite my Origin friends because none are listed?. Only my FB friends appear.

Scrabble was great until EA took over Origin now I cant play with the people I played out in the origin. Why did you try to fix what wasnt broken?

Sorry to say this but the ap is awful. It often bugs and sometimes has a mind of its own!

Update 10/3/17: Login problem fixed. Chat bar fixed. Notifications gone again. C’mon people... please just get this right one time and then leave it alone. Update 9/24/17: Havent been able to log in to Origin for 5 days. I keep getting invalid username/password errors. Cant even log in to EA to get help because of the password error. Update 9/8/17: Game notifications have been working consistently since the last update. Thank you. Chat bar still not working. Also, please bring back the ability to see a guest rating before joining a random game. Either that or bring back the option to choose an opponent within a certain rating range. Fix those two things and Ill give you the last 2 stars. Update 6/10/17: Well, notifications worked for about 2 weeks, then it quit again. Now my chat bar only shows a few characters while Im typing, so I have to type without being able to see what Im typing. Im happy to see that they are working to fix the app, but so far the updates havent helped. --------------------------------- Really dont like the swiping to switch games. I accidentally switch games all the time while trying to place a tile. Also, really hate the no more turns window that pops up (even after it has notified me that it is my turn). 5/19: Notifications no longer work. There is a little red 1 on the app icon all the time, whether it is my turn or not & I have to actually open the game to see if it is my turn. Frustrating. Also dont like that I cant see the chat once a game ends.

How is it that I play my last tile yet another player gets the credit for an opponents unplayed tiles?

Update: The origin log in issue has been resolved. Good customer support communication after asking for help online. Now you log in with EA account. But app still requires you to log in after a day. And despite a “remember me” check box, it does not remember me. Also there are too many notifications that are unrelated to game play. (Old):Cannot log in or access games. Games have disappeared. All attempts to log in have error message: "Incorrect email or password".

With the latest version all of the issues with logging in to Origin have been fixed. Thank you! Great app and great support.

Try to create new game. Find Friends search function does not have keyboard pop up, so cant search! Totally shut down with latest update. IPhone 7+
