Previously, when the game was over, and the scores would appear, your profile pulled your picture from Facebook to display on that screen. But now it doesn’t. I logged into Facebook from your app, closed the app and reopened it and looked at my profile and my Facebook image doesn’t show up. Why did you remove that feature?

As a long time player, I am disappointed at the relatively low quality of the App. Ive experienced configuration issues, and many identification problems logging in through Origin in the last year. This latest login authentication bug took weeks to fix, apparently stranding millions of users. My call to the help desk resulted in a callback the next day, just to be told that EA was aware of the problem but had no idea when a fix would be issued (it took 3 weeks!). I initially thought the issue was unique to me but now that my login has been restored Ive learned that the whole Scrabble/Origin ecosystem was off-line! Every update introduces new bugs which leads me to believe that software quality and regression testing are sub-par. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER EA!! WE DESERVE BETTER!!

As of September 26, 2017, I have not been able to log in for over a week and counting. Same with a friend and after some googling, and came across down detector .com, and it appears that its a world wide problem. Some people have been unable to log in for over 2 weeks. I wrote a review stating this 2 days ago and it has disappeared. EA are you seeing this? When it works, the game is fun but the app doesnt work.

They say this a 5 star game! How? it doesnt work!!! Now almost 2 weeks not being able to log into to scrabble. Support says go to ea help . Been there done that, same message posted in help for the last 2 weeks "the team is working on it" lol lol need a new team? I went and changed my password because they said I had to! Now with all the problems what password is legit. No update yet to fix this problem "come on people" THC- Maybe not enough good cooks in the TECH kitchen!!

I login (or at least try!!!) using the origin account. Well since the last update every time I try to login it says “incorrect username/password”. I go to EA’s origin website and I am able to login using the EXACT SAME credentials. I even tried resetting my password...no change. I contacted support and they said the issue is on their end and should have it fixed in a couple hours. That was at least a week ago. Loser app, loser support, loser coders. Looks like it’s Words With Friends for me and my family from now on. I want my money back.

Thanks for the response but these problems occur very often and shouldnt take that long to fix. No other game app has these issues so regularly. Not bothering w the game anymore. Officially done with Scrabble. Cant log in anymore. No patience for all the glitches. Scrabble/EA techs: your reviews are low for the simple reason that the app has glitches. PLEASE FIX IT OR AT LEAST ACKNOWLEDGE YOU ARE TRYING.

Latest update fixed login issues. Now still waiting on Sound notifications (3 years so far) and an iOS-capable chat interface. Can’t wait to increase stars on this app. Now I’m automatically logged off Origin and can’t log back in. It’s impossible to log in on the Origin site or through the scrabble app. Still never any sounds with notifications by the way. **Look how the review dates are all over the place. My review never gets posted so Im sure they require developer "approval" before being posted. Latest update constantly logging me out (Origin). Still years of no notification sounds no matter how many times the app is reinstalled or settings toggled or device power cycled. EA customer support never helps or replies without a cookie-cutter off-topic response or provides a fix.

EA sent me an email that froze my account and asked me to change password. Done. I can log in on the Origin or EA website but not on Scrabble. Called tech support and was told I need to be patient. “Keep trying to log in every few hours.” Lame answer.

Login fixed. We are happy and back to playing our favorite game. Thanks

Well, something new happened. The game has me completely locked out! Seemed like there was a glitch while I was opening the game, it logged me out and now I cant get back in. My credentials are correct but I still get a log in error. Hope the next update corrects it. Changed passwords thru EA but same results. 9/25/2017 Now the same thing has happened to my wifes game. Cant log in. Cmon guys! 9/26: thank you for your response. 9/28: thanks guys!?? login working great!

Update 170928: s l o w l y this app returns to what it was in the past. However, the dictionary interaction is buggy when return to the play board and the last play is redrawn with tiles falling into place. Why? This is just dumb and not symbolic of normal play. And, while loading foreign langurs dictionaries, one can never use them! Update: latest edition now resets your single player preferences after a game. What once was a simple nicety is now just another example of how terrible this company is programming this app. Can it get any more ridiculous? What many reviewers dont know is that this game was so much truer to the original "Scrabble" that we grew up playing. Now it is simply an animated joke. OLD: Nothing but down hill version after version. Childish animations (great to think that 7 year IKEA are learning vocabulary playing this game...but I doubt it), completely unusable if not online (the wifi icon warning pops up ALWAYS and blocks the dictionary, and English words are not recognized...in the English dictionary! Go to another app.

The user id connection to Origin Is very broken. Bring back the one that wasnt broken before you fixed it... please!

I haven’t been able to access my scrabble games for at least 2 weeks now. It keeps telling me I’m using an incorrect login or password, which I know I’m not. My other friends on iPhones and Androids are having the same issue. When is this going to be fixed? I paid for this app to work.

Can’t log in through Origin. My log in works on the web but not on this app. Had friends I was playing and they are suffering the same issues. Fix it

Update: 9/27/17 user names and recently reset passwords still dont work! Tech Support informed me its a known issue and will not be fixed soon; how long I asked? "could be at least 7 days or more. " So much for Scrabble being available for users. Update: 9/23/17 still no access; cant login at all, tech support called me last evening said its a known issue and would be fixed soon; maybe tomorrow. *************** Ok I spoke too soon! Today September 21, less than two weeks after my last review, my husband and I both are unable to log onto Scrabble. We both received emails from EA to our correctly designated email accounts prompting us to reset our passwords due to a possible security breach. We both verified the authenticity of these emails and proceeded to reset our passwords as directed. We have both been unable to access our accounts with any password since this password reset occurred and unable to reach EA support without waiting an hour for a phone call. Just the facts. September 2017 Great news! 2 months and only 1 network disconnection issue! Way to go guys! Thanks for listening to users! Scrabble stays connected without pesky network drop-offs! Спасибо большое Spasibo bolshoye June 2017 Features/functions work but frequent and random auto-log outs are STILL VERY FRUSTRATING!! 5/2017 update: still playing; when the game works its a great game! But network connectivity is intermittent at best and every time theres an iOS update for the iPhone its like nobody at Scrabble knew it was coming or tested it for their app. Really the game is worth supporting; come on guys !! give us some support! Upgrades usually are a bust; its like we are the testers. Logins take forever to get straightened out, no forewarning of new functions or features coming. Otherwise when it works it a great game! I play on an iPhone and the graphics and sound are fine. January upgrade broke logins in EA: unable to stay logged in; havent been able to play another EA user since January !!its March ! April 2017 Addendum SSDD!! A year later and still network failures; logins stop off active user list; days go by without being able to login and there is no apparent awareness by the Support Staff when there is an IOS upgrade on the iPhone platform that might require testing or programming changes to the Scrabble app. Please you guys in St Petersburg help this great game!

Its like taking 10 steps back. The font is hard to read as it has lost its sharpness. Friends are now "Guest" players and we cannot chat. Games are always locking up. Most times you have to do the "Next" 2 or 3 times to get to the next game and sometimes it doesnt work at all. I miss the teacher. You have to click on it if you want to see how you did. Please bring back the last version. Was working now I cannot even log in. It keeps saying my ID or password are wrong. It has been a week now. I g e deleted and re-opened the app daily with still no success. Ready to give up for good!

Adding my voice to the chorus: the latest update is garbage. Utter fail. Too many problems to list. Someone fire them and hire someone competent pleeeease Same thing, one year later. Been locked out for two weeks. If I didnt love this game and connect to family through Scrabble, it would be long gone.

This is a great app when it works. I havent been able to play for a couple weeks now because it says my email or password are incorrect, even though Im using the same ones Ive had from the beginning. Again, when it works it is one of my favorite ways to keep in contact with family (we played Scrabble a lot). The last few weeks have been frustrating.
